Dead Can Dance — Amnesia (2012)

I've been expecting this new album by Dead Can Dance for some time. I think every album Lisa Gerrard and Brendan Perry have made together are just perfect. Well here is a sneak peak of what is to come! The album will be titled Anastasis and this new song is called Amnesia. I hope you have as much fun as I had discovering this. You can listen to the full album and preorder it on Dead Can Dance's webpage.

Dead Can Dance — Yulunga (1988)

I already posted the splendid Dead Can Dance video for The Host of Seraphim. Here is the second video made out of images of the Movie Baraka by Ron Fricke.

Vaughan Oliver — Graphic designer

A few years ago, I discovered the work of Vaughan Oliver and graphic design company 23 Envelope. I was not aware at the time that this graphic designer had done design of many of my favorite 4AD albums covers of the 80's. Making cover art for Cocteau Twins, X-Mal Deutschland, This Mortal Coil, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance and Clan of Xymox. I had always loved these album covers, without knowing that they come from the same place. Here's a little selection of Vaughan Oliver poster and album designs. If you want to see more I highly recommend this book.
